🌿
1 cup almond milk
1 frozen banana
1/4 cup frozen pineapple 
1-2 tablespoons cocoa powder
2 tablespoons creamy nut butter
Blend in @vitamix with a few ice cubes until blended.

I happen to like my smoothies with a thinner consistency so add more ice or banana if you like them thicker.

It gets the metabolism started,  flushes out those toxins from the day before and gives a nice burst of vitamin C sunshine!  Consider it Mother Nature’s happy place maker. 
Starting small habits is really easy when you set yourself up for success.  Get a bag of lemons.  Find your favorite lemon squeezer.  Access filtered water.  Drink it warm if you are cold.  Drink lemon water before you brush your teeth.  Find your happy place. 🌿

红色D'Anjou Pears成熟并准备添加 红色D'Anjou Pears成熟并准备添加 to my oatmeal or granola!  These delicious pears are full of nutrients and fiber and easily roll into your breakfast. 🍐 
They also come in handy for lunch and dinner too.  Use in salads, roasting, poaching or grilling.  Pears pair well with nuts and fabulous cheeses for your cheese board too! 🌿
Keep in mind that this pear will not be showing ripeness by color so test the top near the stem due to the pear ripening from the inside out. 
**Keep pears on the counter to ripen fastest but pop them in the fridge to slow the ripening down to give them a few more days to eat!

鳄梨吐司与泡菜和萝卜豆芽! Avo. 鳄梨吐司与泡菜和萝卜豆芽! Avo.cado toast is part of my morning routine at least once a week.  Each one is unique and delicious as I include the freshest ingredients that I have on hand.  With almost every trip to the grocery store, I grab a few unripe avocados to set out on the counter and ripen for a few days so there is always one ready for avo toast and beyond.

Only put the avocado in the fridge if it is starting to get too ripe and the cold of the fridge will slow down the ripening process so you can get a little more mileage out of your avocados. If it goes in the fridge before ripening, it will not ripen. 
Also, so easy to grow your own sprouts, even in the middle of winter!  Get your sprouting on. 🌱
Kimchi is full of probiotics so starting your day with good gut flora will help your day go smoothly. 
Avocado toast wins the day! 🌿

1 cup almond coconut milk 
1/2 frozen banana
1/4 cup blueberries
1/4 cup strawberries 
1/4 cup pineapple
2 scoops NOW Foods plant protein powder
1 tbsp NOW Beetroot powder
1 tbsp NOW Collagen powder
1 tbsp coconut butter 

Blended. Yum. Garnished with granola and pom arils.

Looking good with vitamins and minerals across the board with a variety of fruit! This smoothie is blended with protein powder and beetroot powder along with a little collagen powder for joint and bone health from our friends at @nowfoodsofficial

We drizzled them with olive oil and seasoned with sea salt and pepper in a 400 degree oven for about 15 minutes. They were tender and light and left us wanting more.  Feel free to use your favorite seasonings but go light on the shaker so you can taste the amazing goodness of this delightful veggie!

The word “daikon” comes from its Japanese name meaning “big root” but these tiny microgreens are best as garnish and culinary accents while being peppery like a radish.  Daikon radish microgreens are a good source of fiber, enzymes and chlorophyll to help cleanse the body.  They also contain vitamin B’s and C and many minerals!  Looking forward to adding to every meal this week as I chose more cleansing foods for my New Years resolutions and beyond!

我的签名奎奴亚藜沙拉用李 我的签名奎奴亚藜沙拉用李ttle bit of diced roasted yellow beets!  This has been a long standing go to dish for my cooking classes and part of the Healthy Eating 101 lifestyle recipe collection! 

It pairs well with salmon or roasted chicken or a great as a stand alone dish full of fresh vegetables and herbs to boot!  This dish also has great fiber and nutrient content and can be enjoyed by vegans, vegetarians and non veggie fans alike!
