花园料理鼠王

花园茄子料理鼠王

4汤匙特级初榨橄榄油,分为
1个中茄子,去皮并切成丁,放入1/2英寸的骰子中
1甜洋葱,切成薄片的半个月亮
2小西葫芦,切成丁
1个红甜椒,去籽切块
3个罗姆李子西红柿,切成丁
4-5瓣大蒜,切碎
1-14.5盎司可以切成薄片的火烤有机西红柿
1/4茶匙海盐和新鲜胡椒粉调味
一小撮碎的红辣椒片
1汤匙陈年香醋
10片新鲜罗勒叶,切成薄纱
2盎司碎山羊奶酪(可选)

在厚底锅中将特级初榨橄榄油加热至中等,然后加入茄子丁。将茄子炒5-7分钟,必要时加水。加入洋葱,再炒3分钟或直至变软。接下来,加入西葫芦并煮3-4分钟,然后加入新鲜切成丁的番茄并再煮3分钟。加入火烤的西红柿,红辣椒片,香醋,海盐和新鲜的胡椒粉,然后小火煮10分钟。如果需要,加入切碎的新鲜罗勒和其他海盐搅拌。上面放碎的山羊奶酪和切碎的罗勒装饰即可食用。

放在新鲜菠菜或意大利面,大米,玉米粥,粗粒或法式面包的床上。

墨西哥式黑米墨西哥式黑米
1杯黑米,漂洗
2杯水
3汤匙选择的食物鳄梨油
1汤匙白香醋
¼茶匙小茴香
1/8茶匙辣椒
1/4茶匙海盐
¼茶匙新鲜黑胡椒
2个罗马番茄,切成丁
½甜洋葱,切成丁
1个黄色甜椒,去籽切粒
1个成熟的鳄梨,去籽并切丁
¼杯香菜叶
¼杯碎山羊奶酪(可选)

将洗净的米饭放入装有2杯水的大锅中。烧开,盖上锅盖,减少热量,小火煮30-40分钟。从火上移开,让蒸汽蒸10分钟。

将煮熟的黑米转移到大碗中,然后加入鳄梨油和白醋。用小茴香,辣椒,海盐和胡椒粉调味米饭。加入洋葱,西红柿,洋葱,黄椒,鳄梨和香菜,轻轻混合。添加可选的碎奶酪作为装饰。

饭花椰菜炒!饭花椰菜罐头 饭花椰菜炒!饭花椰菜罐头 easily replace rice in this dish! Sauté up your favorite veggies like onion, garlic, greens along with riced cauliflower and a few spicy seasonings 🌶 with toasted sesame oil  and you have a glorious plant based meal in a matter of minutes! 🌿

Use your food processor to rice your the cauliflower! This cuts down on the moisture content that frozen riced cauliflower seems to have when mimicking the rice.

My favorite is Spike seasoning with a little extra flair of red chili flakes!  Pop in the oven for 15-20 minutes on 400 depending on how tender you like your broccoli.

I always recommend buying broccoli heads and cutting them when you are ready to use.  Cut them in long spears with the stems as it will help maintain freshness and vitality that is locked inside.  Plus, the stalks of broccoli are full of nutrients and fiber as well!  So yum.

This year’s cranberry win goes to a cup of sweet red wine instead of plain water or juice to make my holiday cranberry sauce pop! 

🍷With a sweet red wine, I used way less turbanado sugar (only 3 Tablespoons! ) to find my favorite sweet/ tart balance in this significant holiday tradition.  I used allspice to add to the party and a slight squeeze of an orange with a twist of an orange peel to finish with a hint of its essence. 🌿

After Thanksgiving, leftover cranberries now make it to the charcuterie  board to pair with some lovely cheeses.
